TradeMyExcess SiteHub policy

Terms and conditions

These terms govern access to and use of TradeMyExcess SiteHub by organizations and their authorized users.

Effective date: Sep 17, 2026. This owner-authored policy should be reviewed by qualified legal counsel before contractual reliance.

1. About SiteHub

TradeMyExcess SiteHub is operated by Trade My Excess Limited, company number 17114028, with its registered office at 19 Sudbury Drive, Huthwaite, Sutton-in-Ashfield, England, NG17 2SB.

SiteHub provides tools for recording construction materials, managing approvals and recovery routes, and producing operational evidence. It does not replace professional legal, engineering, environmental, tax, or waste-management advice.

2. Your organization and account

  • You must be at least 18 and authorized to act for the organization using SiteHub.
  • Account information must be accurate and kept current.
  • You are responsible for protecting login credentials and reporting suspected unauthorized access.
  • Your organization controls which users, roles, projects, and records you may access.

3. Material and compliance records

Users remain responsible for checking material identity, condition, suitability, ownership, classification, consents, and supporting evidence before approving a transfer, reuse route, sale, donation, return, repair, or disposal.

  • Do not enter information you do not have the right to process.
  • Keep regulated records accurate, complete, and supported by appropriate evidence.
  • Do not rely on SiteHub output as a substitute for a competent professional decision.

4. AI-assisted features

SiteHub may use AI to suggest material descriptions, extract document fields, assess options, or draft sustainability content. AI output is advisory and may be incomplete or incorrect. An authorized user must review it before use or approval.

5. Marketplace gateway

Where your organization publishes an approved item to the TradeMyExcess Marketplace, separate marketplace terms may apply to listings, orders, payments, fulfilment, disputes, and seller proceeds. SiteHub records do not themselves create a sale contract.

6. Acceptable use

You must follow the Acceptable use policy. We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect users, data, service availability, or legal obligations.

7. Availability and changes

We may maintain, update, suspend, or change features. Planned changes should be communicated where they materially affect normal use. No online service can be guaranteed to operate without interruption.

8. Intellectual property

TradeMyExcess and its licensors retain rights in SiteHub, its interface, and platform materials. Your organization retains rights it holds in content submitted to SiteHub and grants the permissions needed to host, process, and display that content for the service.

9. Liability

Nothing in these terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded. Subject to applicable law and the agreement with your organization, SiteHub is provided as an operational record and workflow platform. Users remain responsible for project, material, waste, safety, and commercial decisions.

10. Ending access

Your organization may end access under its commercial agreement. We may suspend or end access for material breach, security risk, unlawful use, or non-payment, subject to applicable contractual commitments.

11. Governing law

Unless a separate written agreement states otherwise, these terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction.
